General Information
- Registration for the conference is mandatory for abstract submission.
- Last date for submission is 15th October 2025 (Midnight). Submissions after the deadline will not be considered.
- Abstracts are invited under the following categories:
- Award Paper – Research Study & Case Report
- Free Papers – Research Study, Case Reports, Case Series
- Dr. Sreelatha Memorial Session – Futuristic Concepts in Dermatology
- E-Posters
- Submission is open only for IADVL Kerala Members (LM/PLM).
Award Papers
- Only Provisional Life Members (PLMs) of Kerala IADVL pursuing postgraduate courses in Kerala medical colleges can submit award papers.
- Each medical college can send only one case report and one research study.
- Research study requires at least 5 study subjects. Case series with fewer than 5 should be submitted as case reports.
- Case report abstract (max 300 words) should include: Introduction, Case Report & Highlights.
- Research study abstract (max 400 words) should include: Introduction, Objectives, Materials & Methods (mention IEC clearance and consent), Results, Limitations, Conclusion.
- Mandatory: HOD recommendation letter confirming the presenting author's involvement in case workup.
- IEC approval copy is mandatory for research studies, showing presenting author as Principal or Co-investigator.
- Any conflicts of interest must be declared.
- Presentation time: 6 minutes for Case Report, 7 minutes for Research Study.
Free Papers
- Only PLM/LM of IADVL Kerala can submit free papers and Dr. Sreelatha Memorial session papers.
- Topics can include rare case reports, case series, or short original research works.
- Abstract pattern and word limit (max 400 words) same as award paper format.
- Presentation time: 7 minutes followed by 3 minutes discussion.
- Papers not selected due to time constraints may be included in the E-poster session.
E-Posters
- Open to all Life Members or Provisional Life Members of IADVL Kerala.
- One person can submit only one E-poster but may be co-author on others.
- E-posters may include case reports, case series, or research studies.
- Follow the same abstract format and word limits as award paper guidelines.
Dr. Sreelatha Memorial Session – Futuristic Concepts in Dermatology
- Only PLM/LM of IADVL Kerala may submit abstracts under this session.
- Innovative procedures, therapies, or investigations are encouraged.
- Abstracts (max 400 words) must be original and relevant to future trends.
- Scientific Committee will evaluate thematic relevance and originality.
- Papers not selected may be moved to Free Paper or E-poster categories.

Authors will be notified regarding acceptance by 10th November 2025.
